Wahrlich, so wahr der HErr, der Gott Israels, lebt, der mich verhindert hat, dass ich nicht übel an dir täte: wärst du nicht eilend mir begegnet, so wäre dem Nabal nicht übriggeblieben bis auf diesen lichten Morgen einer, der männlich ist.
Otherwise, as surely as the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, who has restrained me from harming you, if you had not come quickly to meet me, then surely no male belonging to Nabal would have been left alive by morning light.”
