וַיִּשָּׁבַ֥ע דָּוִ֖ד לְשָׁא֑וּל וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ שָׁאוּל֙ אֶל־ בֵּית֔וֹ וְדָוִד֙ וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֔יו עָל֖וּ עַל־ הַמְּצוּדָֽה׃פ
So David gave his oath to Saul. Then Saul returned home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold.
