וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב דָּוִ֤ד בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ בַּמְּצָד֔וֹת וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב בָּהָ֖ר בְּמִדְבַּר־ זִ֑יף וַיְבַקְשֵׁ֤הוּ שָׁאוּל֙ כָּל־ הַיָּמִ֔ים וְלֹֽא־ נְתָנ֥וֹ אֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּיָדֽוֹ׃
