Aber der HErr sprach zu Samuel: Sieh nicht an seine Gestalt noch seine große Person; ich habe ihn verworfen. Denn es geht nicht, wie ein Mensch sieht: ein Mensch sieht, was vor Augen ist; der HErr aber sieht das Herz an.
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or height, for I have rejected him; the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart.”
