Il arriva qu’au jour du combat il ne se trouvait ni épée ni lance entre les mains de tout le peuple qui était avec Saül et Jonathan; il ne s’en trouvait qu’auprès de Saül et de Jonathan, son fils.
So on the day of battle not a sword or spear could be found in the hands of the troops with Saul and Jonathan; only Saul and his son Jonathan had weapons.
