Et l’Éternel envoya Jerubbaal, Bedan, Jephthé et Samuel, et il vous délivra de la main de vos ennemis qui vous entouraient, et vous demeurâtes en sécurité.
So the LORD sent Jerubbaal (note: Jerubbaal is another name for Gideon and probably means let Baal contend; see Judges 6:32.), Barak (note: LXX and Syriac; Hebrew Bedan), Jephthah, and Samuel (note: LXX and Syriac Samson), and He delivered you from the hands of your enemies on every side, and you dwelt securely.
