וַתַּעֲלֵ֨הוּ עִמָּ֜הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר גְּמָלַ֗תּוּ בְּפָרִ֤ים שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ וְאֵיפָ֨ה אַחַ֥ת קֶ֙מַח֙ וְנֵ֣בֶל יַ֔יִן וַתְּבִאֵ֥הוּ בֵית־ יְהוָ֖ה שִׁל֑וֹ וְהַנַּ֖עַר נָֽעַר׃
Once she had weaned him, Hannah took the boy with her, along with a three-year-old bull (note: DSS, LXX, and Syriac; MT three bulls), an ephah of flour (note: An ephah is approximately 20 dry quarts or 22 liters (probably about 25.5 pounds or 11.6 kilograms of flour).), and a skin of wine. Though the boy was still young, she brought him to the house of the LORD at Shiloh.
