ὃς τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν αὐτὸς ἀνήνεγκεν ἐν τῷ σώματι αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον, ἵνα ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ἀπογενόμενοι τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ ζήσωμεν· οὗ τῷ μώλωπι [αὐτοῦ] ἰάθητε.
He Himself bore our sins (note: Isaiah 53:4 (see also LXX)) in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed (note: Isaiah 53:5).”
