Da sammelte der König Israels Propheten bei vierhundert Mann und sprach zu ihnen: Soll ich gen Ramoth in Gilead ziehen, zu streiten, oder soll ich's lassen anstehen? Sie sprachen: Zieh hinauf! der HErr wird's in die Hand des Königs geben.
So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men, and asked them, “Should I go to war against Ramoth-gilead, or should I refrain?” “Go up,” they replied, “and the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
