Salomo aber trachtete, Jerobeam zu töten. Da machte sich Jerobeam auf und floh nach Ägypten zu Sisak, dem König in Ägypten, und blieb in Ägypten, bis dass Salomo starb.
Solomon therefore sought to kill Jeroboam. But Jeroboam arose and fled to Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt, where he remained until the death of Solomon.
