וְצִוָּ֤ה אֵלָיו֙ עַל־ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה לְבִ֨לְתִּי־ לֶ֔כֶת אַחֲרֵ֖י אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְלֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔ר אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃פ
Although He had warned Solomon explicitly not to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD’s command.
