μηδὲ ἐκπειράζωμεν τὸν Χριστόν, καθὼς καί τινες αὐτῶν ἐπείρασαν καὶ ὑπὸ τῶν ὄφεων ἀπώλοντο.
We should not test Christ (note: WH, NE, and Tischendorf test the Lord), as some of them did, and were killed by snakes.
