8:1
καὶ Βενιαμιν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαλε πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ καὶ Ασβηλ τὸν δεύτερον Ααρα τὸν τρίτον
Benjamin was the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,
8:2
Νωα τὸν τέταρτον καὶ Ραφη τὸν πέμπτον
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
8:3
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Βαλε Αδερ καὶ Γηρα καὶ Αβιουδ
The sons of Bela: Addar, Gera, Abihud (note: Possibly Gera the father of Ehud; see verse 7.),
8:4
καὶ Αβισουε καὶ Νοομα καὶ Αχια
Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
8:5
καὶ Γηρα καὶ Σωφαρφακ καὶ Ωιμ
Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
8:6
οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αωδ οὗτοί εἰσιν ἄρχοντες πατριῶν τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν Γαβεε καὶ μετῴκισαν αὐτοὺς εἰς Μαναχαθι
These were the descendants of Ehud who were the heads of the families living in Geba and were exiled to Manahath:
8:7
καὶ Νοομα καὶ Αχια καὶ Γηρα οὗτος ιγλααμ καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναανα καὶ τὸν Αχιχωδ
Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who carried them into exile and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud (note: Or and Gera, that is Heglam, who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.).
8:8
καὶ Σααρημ ἐγέννησεν ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ Μωαβ μετὰ τὸ ἀποστεῖλαι αὐτὸν Ωσιμ καὶ τὴν Βααδα γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ
Shaharaim had sons in the country of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara.
8:9
καὶ ἐγέννησεν ἐκ τῆς Αδα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ τὸν Ιωβαβ καὶ τὸν Σεβια καὶ τὸν Μισα καὶ τὸν Μελχαμ
His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
καὶ τὸν Ιαως καὶ τὸν Σαβια καὶ τὸν Μαρμα οὗτοι ἄρχοντες πατριῶν
Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
καὶ ἐκ τῆς Ωσιμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβιτωβ καὶ τὸν Αλφααλ
He also had sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.
καὶ υἱοὶ Αλφααλ Ωβηδ Μεσσααμ Σεμμηρ οὗτος ᾠκοδόμησεν τὴν Ωνω καὶ τὴν Λοδ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς
The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built Ono and Lod with its villages),
καὶ Βεριγα καὶ Σαμα οὗτοι ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν Αιλαμ καὶ οὗτοι ἐξεδίωξαν τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Γεθ
and Beriah and Shema (who were the heads of families living in Aijalon and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath).
καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ Σωσηκ καὶ Ιαριμωθ
Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,
καὶ Ζαβαδια καὶ Ωρηρ καὶ Ωδηδ
Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
καὶ Μιχαηλ καὶ Ιεσφα καὶ Ιωχα υἱοὶ Βαριγα
Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.
καὶ Ζαβαδια καὶ Μοσολλαμ καὶ Αζακι καὶ Αβαρ
Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
καὶ Ισαμαρι καὶ Ιεζλια καὶ Ιωβαβ υἱοὶ Ελφααλ
Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
καὶ Ιακιμ καὶ Ζεχρι καὶ Ζαβδι
Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,
καὶ Ελιωηναι καὶ Σαλθι καὶ Ελιηλι
Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
καὶ Αδαια καὶ Βαραια καὶ Σαμαραθ υἱοὶ Σαμαϊ
Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
καὶ Ισφαν καὶ Ωβηδ καὶ Ελεηλ
Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
καὶ Αβαδων καὶ Ζεχρι καὶ Αναν
Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
καὶ Ανανια καὶ Αμβρι καὶ Αιλαμ καὶ Αναθωθια
Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
καὶ Αθιν καὶ Ιεφερια καὶ Φελιηλ υἱοὶ Σωσηκ
Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
καὶ Σαμσαρια καὶ Σααρια καὶ Ογοθολια
Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
καὶ Ιαρασια καὶ Ηλια καὶ Ζεχρι υἱοὶ Ιρααμ
Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
οὗτοι ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οὗτοι κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
All these were heads of families, the chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
καὶ ἐν Γαβαων κατῴκησεν πατὴρ Γαβαων καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ Μααχα
Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived (note: Some LXX manuscripts (see also 1 Chronicles 9:35); Hebrew The father of Gibeon lived) in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah,
καὶ υἱὸς αὐτῆς ὁ πρωτότοκος Αβαδων καὶ Σουρ καὶ Κις καὶ Βααλ καὶ Νηρ καὶ Ναδαβ
and Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal (note: Some LXX manuscripts include Ner; see 1 Chronicles 9:36.), Nadab,
καὶ Γεδουρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Ζαχουρ καὶ Μακαλωθ
Gedor, Ahio, Zecher (note: Zecher is likely a variant of Zechariah; see 1 Chronicles 9:37.),
καὶ Μακαλωθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σεμαα καὶ γὰρ οὗτοι κατέναντι τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν
and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah (note: Shimeah is a variant of Shimeam; see 1 Chronicles 9:38.). They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.
καὶ Νηρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Κις καὶ Κις ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαουλ καὶ Σαουλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν Μελχισουε καὶ τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν Ασαβαλ
Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal (note: Esh-baal is also called Ish-bosheth; see 2 Samuel 2:8.).
καὶ υἱοὶ Ιωναθαν Μεριβααλ καὶ Μεριβααλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μιχια
The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal (note: Merib-baal is also called Mephibosheth; see 2 Samuel 4:4.), and Merib-baal was the father of Micah (note: Micah is a variant of Mica; see 2 Samuel 9:12.).
καὶ υἱοὶ Μιχια Φιθων καὶ Μελχηλ καὶ Θερεε καὶ Αχαζ
The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea (note: Tarea is a variant of Tahrea; see 1 Chronicles 9:41.), and Ahaz.
καὶ Αχαζ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωιαδα καὶ Ιωιαδα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γαλεμαθ καὶ τὸν Ασμωθ καὶ τὸν Ζαμβρι καὶ Ζαμβρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαισα
Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah (note: Jehoaddah is a variant of Jarah or Jadah; see 1 Chronicles 9:42.), Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
καὶ Μαισα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαανα Ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Εσηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Moza was the father of Binea. Raphah (note: Raphah is a variant of Rephaiah; see 1 Chronicles 9:43.) was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
καὶ τῷ Εσηλ ἓξ υἱοί καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Εζρικαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ Ισμαηλ καὶ Σαραια καὶ Αβδια καὶ Αναν πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Εσηλ
Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
καὶ υἱοὶ Ασηλ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ Αιλαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ Ιαις ὁ δεύτερος Ελιφαλετ ὁ τρίτος
The sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam was his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third.
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Αιλαμ ἰσχυροὶ ἄνδρες δυνάμει τείνοντες τόξον καὶ πληθύνοντες υἱοὺς καὶ υἱοὺς τῶν υἱῶν ἑκατὸν πεντήκοντα πάντες οὗτοι ἐξ υἱῶν Βενιαμιν
The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and they had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Benjamin.
