וַיַּכּ֕וּ אֶת־ שְׁאֵרִ֥ית הַפְּלֵטָ֖ה לַעֲמָלֵ֑ק וַיֵּ֣שְׁבוּ שָׁ֔ם עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
and struck down the remnant of the Amalekites who had escaped. And they have lived there to this day.
