Now these were the sons of David that were born to him in Chebron; the first-born Amnon, [born] of Achinaam the Jezraelitess; the second Damniel, of Abigaia the Carmelitess.
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
The third, Abessalom, the son of Mocha the daughter of Tholmai king of Gedsur; the fourth, Adonia the son of Aggith.
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
The fifth, Saphatia, [the son] of Abital; the sixth, Jethraam, [born] of Agla his wife.
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
Six were born to him in Chebron; and he reigned there seven years and six months: and he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
And these were born to him in Jerusalem; Samaa, Sobab, Nathan, and Solomon; four [of] Bersabee the daughter of Amiel:
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea (note: Shimea is a variant of Shammua; see 2 Samuel 5:14 and 1 Chronicles 14:4.), Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba (note: One Hebrew manuscript and Vulgate (see also LXX and 2 Samuel 11:3); most Hebrew manuscripts Bath-shua) daughter of Ammiel (note: Ammiel is a variant of Eliam; see 2 Samuel 11:3.).
and Ebaar, and Elisa, and Eliphaleth,
David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua (note: Two Hebrew manuscripts (see also 2 Samuel 5:15 and 1 Chronicles 14:5); most Hebrew manuscripts Elishama), Eliphelet,
All [these were] the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines, and [there was also] Themar their sister.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
The sons of Solomon; Roboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Josaphat his son,
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
Joram his son, Ochozias his son, Joas his son,
Joram (note: Joram is a variant spelling of Jehoram.) his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
Amasias his son, Azarias his son, Joathan his son,
Amaziah his son, Azariah (note: Azariah is also called Uzziah; see 2 Chronicles 26:1.) his son, Jotham his son,
Achaz his son, Ezekias his son, Manasses his son,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
And the sons of Josia; the first-born Joanan, the second Joakim, the third Sedekias, the fourth Salum.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum (note: Shallum is another name for Jehoahaz.) the fourth.
And the sons of Joakim; Jechonias his son, Sedekias his son.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah (note: Jeconiah is a variant of Jehoiachin; also in verse 17; see 2 Kings 24:6.) his son, and Zedekiah.
And the sons of Jechonias; Asir, Salathiel his son,
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
Melchiram, and Phadaias, and Sanesar, and Jekimia, and Hosamath, and Nabadias.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
And the sons of Phadaias; Zorobabel, and Semei: and the sons of Zorobabel; Mosollam, and Anania, and Salomethi [was] their sister.
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
And Asube, and Ool, and Barachia, and Asadia, and Asobed, five.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
And the sons of Anania, Phalettia, and Jesias his son, Raphal his son, Orna his son, Abdia his son, Sechenias his son.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
And the son of Sechenias; Samaia: and the sons of Samaia; Chattus, and Joel, and Berri and Noadia, and Saphath, six.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
And the sons of Noadia: Elithenan, and Ezekia, and Ezricam, three.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
And the sons of Elithenan; Odolia, and Heliasebon, and Phadaia, and Akub, and Joanan, and Dalaaïa, and Anan, seven.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
