These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
Fils de Juda : Her, Onan et Séla ; ces trois lui naquirent de la fille de Sué, la Chananéenne. — Her, premier-né de Juda, était méchant aux yeux de Yahweh, qui le fit mourir. —
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death.
Thamar, belle-fille de Juda, lui enfanta Pharès et Zara. — Tous les fils de Juda furent au nombre de cinq.
Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.
Fils de Zara : Zamri, Ethan, Eman, Chalchal et Dara : en tout, cinq. —
The sons of Zerah: Zimri (note: Zimri is a variant of Zabdi; see Joshua 7:1.), Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara (note: Most Hebrew manuscripts; many Hebrew manuscripts, some LXX manuscripts, and Syriac (see also 1 Kings 4:31) Darda)—five in all.

The son (note: Hebrew sons) of Carmi: Achar (note: Achar means troubler; also called Achan in Joshua 7 and Joshua 22.), who brought trouble upon Israel by violating the ban on devoted things.

The sons who were born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb (note: Hebrew Chelubai, a variant of Caleb; see verse 18.).
Ram engendra Aminadab ; Aminadab engendra Nahasson, prince des fils de Juda ;
Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, a leader of the descendants of Judah.
Nahasson engendra Salma ; Salma engendra Booz ;
Nahshon was the father of Salmon (note: LXX (see also Ruth 4:20–21); Hebrew Salma; twice in this verse), and Salmon was the father of Boaz.
Booz engendra Obed ; Obed engendra Isaï ;
Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.
Isaï engendra Eliab son premier-né, Abinadab, le deuxième, Simmaa le troisième,
Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea (note: Shimea is a variant of Shammah, Shimeah, and Shimei; see 1 Samuel 16:9, 2 Samuel 13:3, and 2 Samuel 21:21.) third,

Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.
Abigaïl enfanta Amasa, dont le père fut Jéther, l'Ismaélite.
Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether (note: Jether is a variant of Ithra; see 2 Samuel 17:25.) the Ishmaelite.
Caleb, fils de Hesron eut des enfants d'Azuba, sa femme, et de Jérioth. Voici les fils qu'il eut d'Azuba : Jaser, Sobab et Ardon.
Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Azubah: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
Azuba mourut, et Caleb prit pour femme Ephrata, qui lui enfanta Hur.
When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath (note: Ephrath is a variant of Ephrathah; see verse 50.), who bore to him Hur.
Hur engendra Uri, et Uri engendra Bézéléel. —
Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
Ensuite Hesron s'unit à la fille de Machir, père de Galaad : il avait soixante ans quand il la prit ; elle lui enfanta Ségub.
Later, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Segub.
Ségub engendra Jaïr, qui eut vingt-trois villes dans le pays de Galaad.
Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
Les Gessuriens et les Syriens leur prirent les Bourgs de Jaïr, ainsi que Canath et les villes de sa dépendance : soixante villes. Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Machir, père de Galaad.
But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth- (note: Or the villages of Jair)jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Machir the father of Gilead.
Après la mort de Hesron à Caleb-Ephrata, Abia, la femme de Hesron, lui enfanta Ashur, père de Thécua.
After Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore (note: Or After Hezron died, Caleb had relations with Ephrathah, the wife of Hezron his father, and she bore; see also LXX.) to him Ashhur the father (note: Or the founder; also in verses 42, 45, 49, and possibly elsewhere) of Tekoa.
Les fils de Jéraméel, premier-né de Hesron, furent : Ram, le premier-né, Buna, Aran, Asom et Achia.
The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.
Jéraméel eut une autre femme, nommée Athara, qui fut mère d'Onam. —
Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.
Les fils de Ram, premier-né de Jéraméel furent : Moos, Jamin et Acar. —
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
Les fils d'Onam furent : Séméï et Jada. — Fils de Séméï : Nadab et Abisur.
The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
Le nom de la femme d'Abisur était Abihaïl, et elle lui enfanta Ahobban et Molid.
Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.
Fils de Nadab : Saled et Apphaïm. Saled mourut sans fils.
The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.
Fils d'Apphaïm : Jési. Fils de Jési : Sésan. Fils de Sesan : Oholaï. —
The son (note: Hebrew sons; three times in this verse) of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
Fils de Jada, frère de Séméï : Jéther et Jonathan. Jéther mourut sans fils.
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.
Fils de Jonathan : Phaleth et Ziza. — Ce sont là les fils de Jéraméel. —
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. He also had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.
il lui donna sa fille pour femme, et elle lui enfanta Ethéï.
Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Attai.
Ethéï engendra Nathan ; Nathan engendra Zabad ;
Attai was the father of Nathan, Nathan was the father of Zabad,
Zabad engendra Ophlal ; Ophlal engendra Obed ;
Zabad was the father of Ephlal, Ephlal was the father of Obed,
Obed engendra Jéhu ; Jéhu engendra Azarias ;
Obed was the father of Jehu, Jehu was the father of Azariah,
Azarias engendra Hellès ; Hellès engendra Elasa ;
Azariah was the father of Helez, Helez was the father of Elasah,
Elasa engendra Sisamoï ; Sisamoï engendra Sellum ;
Elasah was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Shallum,
Sellum engendra Icamias, et Icamias engendra Elisama.
Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.
Fils de Caleb, frère de Jéraméel : Mésa, son premier-né, qui fut père de Ziph, et les fils de Marésa, père d'Hébron. —
The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha (note: Hebrew; LXX Mareshah) his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and Mareshah his second son, who was the father of Hebron.
Fils d'Hébron : Coré, Thaphua, Récem et Samma.
The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
Samma engendra Raham, père de Jercaam ; Récem engendra Sammaï. —
Shema was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem was the father of Shammai.

The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
Epha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Haran, Mosa et Gézez. Haran engendra Gézez. —
Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.
Fils de Jahaddaï : Regom, Joathan, Gosan, Phalet, Epha et Saaph. —
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
Maacha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Saber et Tharana.
Caleb’s concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.
Elle enfanta encore Saaph, père de Madména, Sué, père de Machbéna et père de Gabaa. La fille de Caleb était Achsa.
She was also the mother of Shaaph father of Madmannah, and of Sheva father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Acsah.
Ceux-ci furent fils de Caleb. Fils de Hur, premier-né d'Ephrata : Sobal, père de Cariathiarim ;
These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons (note: LXX and Vulgate; Hebrew son) of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah (note: Ephrathah is a variant of Ephrath; see verse 19.): Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,
Salma, père de Bethléem ; Hariph, père de Bethgader. —
Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
Les fils de Sobal, père de Cariathiarim, furent : Haroé, Hatsi-Hamménuhoth.
These were the descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half the Manahathites,
Les familles de Cariathiarim, furent : les Jethréens, les Aphuthéens, les Sémathéens et les Maséréens. D'eux sont sortis les Saréens et les Esthaoliens. —
and the clans of Kiriath-jearim—the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.
Fils de Salma : Bethléem et les Nétophatiens, Ataroth-Beth-Joab, moitié des Manachtiens, les Saréens,
The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,
ainsi que les familles des Scribes demeurant à Jabès, savoir, les Thiratiens, les Schimathiens et les Sucathiens. Ce sont les Cinéens, issus de Hamath, père de la maison de Réchab.
and the clans of the scribes (note: Or of the Sopherites) who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab (note: Or the father of Beth-rekab or the founder of the house of Rechab).
