Καὶ ἔστησεν Δαυεὶδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀσὰφ καὶ Αἱμὰν καὶ Ἰδειθὰν τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις· καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν.
Additionally, David and the commanders of the army set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy with the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbals. The following is the list of the men who performed this service:
υἱοὶ Ἀσάφ· Σακχούς, Ἰωσὴφ καὶ Ναθαλίας καὶ Ἐραήλ· υἱοὶ Ἀσὰφ ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως.
From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. These sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
τῷ Ἰδειθών, υἱοὶ Ἰδειθών· Γουνὰ καὶ Σουρεὶ καὶ Σαιὰ καὶ Σεμεεὶ καὶ Ἀσαβιὰ καὶ Ματταθίας, ἕξ, μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ἰδειθὰν ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενος ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἵνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ.
From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.
τῷ Αἱμανεί, υἱοὶ Αἱμάν· Βουκείας καὶ Μανθανίας καὶ Ἀζαραὴλ καὶ Σουβαὴλ καὶ Ἀμσοὺ καὶ Ἰερεμὼθ καὶ Ἀνανίας καὶ Ἠαθὰθ καὶ Γοδολλαθεὶ καὶ Ῥωμεί υἱοὶ Ὤδ καὶ Ἰειβασάκα καὶ Μανθεὶ καὶ Ὡθηρεὶ καὶ Μελζώθ.
From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel (note: Shebuel is a variant of Shubael; see verse 20.), Jerimoth (note: Jerimoth is a variant of Jeremoth; see verse 22.), Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αἱμὰν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεὶ ἐν λόγοις θεοῦ ὑψῶσαι κέρας· καὶ ἔδωκεν θεὸς τῷ Αἱμὰν υἱοὺς δέκα τέσσαρες καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς.
All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ Ἀσαφ καὶ Ἰδειθοὺν καὶ Αἱμανεί.
All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.
καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν, δεδιδαγμένοι ἄδειν Κυρίῳ, πᾶς συνίων διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ.
Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.
καὶ ἔβαλον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν, τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων.
They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.
καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἀσάφ, τῷ Ἰωσήφ, Γαλουιὰ ὁ δεύτερος, Ἡνειά, ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ τρίτος Ζαχχούθ, υἱὸς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ τέταρτος Ἰεσδρεί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the fourth to Izri (note: Izri is a variant of Zeri; see verse 3.), his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ πέμπτος Ναθαν, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ἕκτος Βουκείας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ἔβδομος Ἰσεριήλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the seventh to Jesarelah (note: Jesarelah is a variant of Asarelah; see verse 2.), his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ἔνατος Μανθανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ό δέκατος Ἐμεεί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·

the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ἑπτακαιδέκατος Βακατά, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ὀκτωκαιδέκατος Ἀνανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
ὁ ἐννεακαιδέκατος Μεθαθεί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο·
