Joab répondit : " Que Yahweh ajoute à son peuple cent fois ce qu'il y en a ! O roi, monseigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous esclaves de mon seigneur ? Pourquoi donc mon seigneur demande-t-il cela ? Pourquoi faire venir le péché sur Israël ? "
But Joab replied, “May the LORD multiply His troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all servants of my lord? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?”
