Et David dit à Joab et aux chefs du peuple: Allez, faites le dénombrement d’Israël, depuis Beer-Schéba jusqu’à Dan, et rapportez-le-moi, afin que je sache à combien il s’élève.
So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan and bring me a report, so that I may know their number.”
