וּמִשְׁפְּח֤וֹת סֹפְרִים֙ יֹשְׁבוּ יַעְבֵּ֔ץ תִּרְעָתִ֥ים שִׁמְעָתִ֖ים שׂוּכָתִ֑ים הֵ֚מָּה הַקִּינִ֣ים הַבָּאִ֔ים מֵחַמַּ֖ת אֲבִ֥י בֵית־ רֵכָֽב׃ס
and the clans of the scribes (note: Or of the Sopherites) who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab (note: Or the father of Beth-rekab or the founder of the house of Rechab).
