Ils montèrent à Baal-Peratsim, où David les battit. Puis il dit: Dieu a dispersé mes ennemis par ma main, comme des eaux qui s’écoulent. C’est pourquoi l’on a donné à ce lieu le nom de Baal-Peratsim.
So David and his men went up to Baal-perazim (note: Baal-perazim means The Lord Bursts Out.), where he defeated the Philistines and said, “Like a bursting flood, God has burst out against my enemies by my hand.” So they called that place Baal-perazim.
