καὶ ἐβαρύνθη ὁ πόλεμος ἐπὶ Σαούλ· καὶ εὗρον αὐτοὺς οἱ τοξόται ἐν τόξοις καὶ πόνοις, καὶ ἐπόνεσαν ἀπὸ τῶν τόξων.
When the battle intensified against Saul, the archers overtook him and wounded him.
