The Louis Segond 1910 French Bible, the standard Protestant French translation for over a century. Translated directly from the Hebrew and Greek by Louis Segond (1810-1885), a Swiss theologian commissioned by the Compagnie des Pasteurs de Genève. First published as the OT in 1874 and the NT in 1880; the 1910 revision is the definitive edition.
