Psalms 95 — parallel

95:1

ὅτε ὁ οἶκος ᾠκοδομεῖτο μετὰ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ᾠδὴ τῷ Δαυιδ ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ᾆσμα καινόν ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ

^96:1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.

95:2

ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ εὐλογήσατε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ εὐαγγελίζεσθε ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας τὸ σωτήριον αὐτοῦ

^96:2 Sing to the LORD, bless His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.

95:3

ἀναγγείλατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς λαοῖς τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ

^96:3 Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.

95:4

ὅτι μέγας κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα φοβερός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς θεούς

^96:4 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.

95:5

ὅτι πάντες οἱ θεοὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν δαιμόνια ὁ δὲ κύριος τοὺς οὐρανοὺς ἐποίησεν

^96:5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is the LORD who made the heavens.

95:6

ἐξομολόγησις καὶ ὡραιότης ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἁγιωσύνη καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια ἐν τῷ ἁγιάσματι αὐτοῦ

^96:6 Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary.

95:7

ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ αἱ πατριαὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν καὶ τιμήν

^96:7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

95:8

ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἄρατε θυσίας καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὰς αὐλὰς αὐτοῦ

^96:8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and enter His courts.

95:9

προσκυνήσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν αὐλῇ ἁγίᾳ αὐτοῦ σαλευθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ

^96:9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.

95:10

εἴπατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν καὶ γὰρ κατώρθωσεν τὴν οἰκουμένην ἥτις οὐ σαλευθήσεται κρινεῖ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι

^96:10 Declare among the nations: “The LORD reigns!” The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity.

95:11

εὐφραινέσθωσαν οἱ οὐρανοί καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ σαλευθήτω ἡ θάλασσα καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς

^96:11 Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea resound, and all that fills it.

95:12

χαρήσεται τὰ πεδία καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς τότε ἀγαλλιάσονται πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ δρυμοῦ

^96:12 Let the fields exult, and all that is in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy

95:13

πρὸ προσώπου κυρίου ὅτι ἔρχεται ὅτι ἔρχεται κρῖναι τὴν γῆν κρινεῖ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ λαοὺς ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ αὐτοῦ

^96:13 before the LORD, for He is coming—He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
