A Psalm, a Song. For the sabbath day.
A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High,
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, And to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High;

To declare Thy lovingkindness in the morning, And Thy faithfulness in the night seasons,
92:2 to proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night
With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; With a solemn sound upon the harp.
92:3 with the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre.
For Thou, LORD, hast made me glad through Thy work; I will exult in the works of Thy hands.
92:4 For You, O LORD, have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
How great are Thy works, O LORD! Thy thoughts are very deep.
92:5 How great are Your works, O LORD, how deep are Your thoughts!
A brutish man knoweth not, Neither doth a fool understand this.
92:6 A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand,
When the wicked spring up as the grass, And when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; It is that they may be destroyed for ever.
92:7 that though the wicked sprout like grass, and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.
But Thou, O LORD, art on high for evermore.
92:8 But You, O LORD, are exalted forever!
For, lo, Thine enemies, O LORD, For, lo, Thine enemies shall perish: All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
92:9 For surely Your enemies, O LORD, surely Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
But my horn hast Thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox; I am anointed with rich oil.
92:10 But You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; with fine oil I have been anointed.
Mine eye also hath gazed on them that lie in wait for me, Mine ears have heard my desire of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
92:11 My eyes see the downfall of my enemies; my ears hear the wailing of my wicked foes (note: Or my ears hear evildoers when they rise against me).
The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
92:12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, They shall flourish in the courts of our God.
92:13 Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and richness;
92:14 In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain,
To declare that the LORD is upright, My Rock, in whom there is no unrighteousness.
92:15 to proclaim, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.”
