Parallel

Psalms 69

Brenton's English Septuagint · Berean Standard Bible

For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me.
For the choirmaster. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of David. Save me, O God, for the waters are up to my neck.
Draw nigh, O God, to my help.
70:1 For the choirmaster. Of David. To bring remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Hurry, O LORD, to help me!
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.
70:2 May those who seek my life be ashamed and confounded; may those who wish me harm be repelled and humiliated.
Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.
70:3 May those who say, “Aha, aha!” retreat because of their shame.
Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
70:4 May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, “Let God be magnified!”
But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
70:5 But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.
