Parallel

Psalms 4

Louis Segond 1910 · Berean Standard Bible

4:1
Au chef des chantres. Avec instruments à cordes. Psaume de David.
For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved my distress; show me grace and hear my prayer.
4:2
Quand je crie, réponds-moi, Dieu de ma justice!
How long, O men, will my honor be maligned? How long will you love vanity and seek after lies (note: Or false gods)? Selah
4:3
Fils des hommes, jusques à quand ma gloire sera-t-elle outragée?
Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for Himself; the LORD hears when I call to Him.
4:4
Sachez que l’Éternel s’est choisi un homme pieux;
Be angry, yet do not sin (note: Or In your anger do not sin or Tremble and do not sin; cited in Ephesians 4:26); on your bed, search your heart and be still. Selah
4:5
Tremblez, et ne péchez point;
Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.
4:6
Offrez des sacrifices de justice,
Many ask, “Who can show us the good?” Shine the light of Your face upon us, O LORD.
4:7
Plusieurs disent: Qui nous fera voir le bonheur?
You have filled my heart with more joy than when grain and new wine abound.
4:8
Tu mets dans mon cœur plus de joie qu’ils n’en ont
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
