αἰὰέσω Κύριον ἐν ζωῇ μου, ψαλῶ τῷ θεῷ μου ἕως ὑπάρχω.
146:2
I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
μὴ πεποίθατε ἐπʼ ἄρχοντας καὶ ἐφʼ υἱοὺς ἀνθρώπων, οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρία·
146:3
Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save.
ἐξελεύσεται τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιστρέψει εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ· ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἀπολοῦνται πάντες οἱ διαλογισμοὶ αὐτῶν.
146:4
When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish.
μακάριος οὗ ὁ θεὸς Ἰακὼβ βοηθός, ἡ ἐλπὶς αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτοῦ·
146:5
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
τὸν ποιήσαντα τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν, τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς· τὸν φυλάσσοντα ἀλήθειαν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα,
146:6
the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He remains faithful forever.
ποιοῦντα κρίμα τοῖς ἀδικουμένοις, διδόντα τροφὴν τοῖς πεινῶσιν. Κύριος λύει πεπεδημένους·
146:7
He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free,
Κύρος ἀνορθοῖ κατερραγμένους· Κύριος σοφοῖ τυφλούς· Κύριος ἀγαπᾷ δικαίους·
146:8
the LORD opens the eyes of the blind, the LORD lifts those who are weighed down, the LORD loves the righteous.
Κύριος φυλάσσει τοὺς προσηλύτους, ὀρφανὸν καὶ χήραν ἀναλήμψεται, καὶ ὁδὸν ἁμαρτωλῶν ἀφανιεῖ.
146:9
The LORD protects foreigners; He sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the ways of the wicked He frustrates.
βασιλεύσει Κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, ὁ θεός σου, Σιών, εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν.
146:10
The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Hallelujah!
Ἁλληλουιά· Ἀγγαίου καὶ Ζαχαρίου.
My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
