Parallel
Psalms 130
Brenton's English Septuagint · Berean Standard Bible
A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.
131:1
A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.
[I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exalted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so wilt thou recompense my soul.
131:2
Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
131:3
O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.
