ᾩδὴ ψαλμοῦ τῷ Δαυείδ.
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.
Ἑτοίμη ἡ καρδία μου, ὁ θεός, ἑτοίμη ἡ καρδία μου, ᾄσομαι καὶ ψαλῶ ἐν τῇ δόξῃ μου·
108:1
A song. A Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my being (note: Or with my glory).
ἐγέρθητι, ψαλτήριον καὶ κιθάρα· ἐξεγερθήσομαι ὄρθρου.
108:2
Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν λαοῖς, Κύριε. καὶ ψαλῶ σοι ἐν ἔθνεσιν·
108:3
I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing Your praises among the peoples.
ὅτι μέγα ἐπάνω τῶν οὐρανῶν τὸ ἔλεός σου, καὶ ἕως τῶν νεφελῶν ἡ ἀλήθειά σου.
108:4
For Your loving devotion extends beyond the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
ὑψώθητι ἐπὶ τοὺς οὐρανούς, ὁ θεός, καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἡ δόξα σου.
108:5
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth.
ὅπως ἂν ῥυσθῶσιν οἱ ἀγαπητοί σου, σῶσον τῇ δεξιῷ σου καὶ ἐπάκουσόν μου.
108:6
Respond and save us with Your right hand, that Your beloved may be delivered.
ὁ θεὸς ἐλάλησεν ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ Ὑψωθήσομαι καὶ διαμεριῶ Σίκιμα. καὶ τὴν κοιλάδα τῶν σκηνωμάτων ἐκμετρήσω.
108:7
God has spoken from His sanctuary (note: Or in His holiness): “I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem and apportion the Valley of Succoth.
ἐμός ἐστιν Γαλαάδ, καὶ ἐμός ἐστιν Μανασσή, καὶ Ἐφράιμ ἀντίλημψις τῆς κεφαλῆς μου· Ἰούδας βασιλεύς μου,
108:8
Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet, Judah is My scepter.
Μωὰβ λέβης τῆς ἐλπίδος μου· ἐπὶ τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν ἐκτενῶ τὸ ὑπόδημά μου, ἐμοὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ὑπετάγησαν.
108:9
Moab is My washbasin; upon Edom I toss My sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
τίς ἀπάξει με εἰς πόλιν περιοχῆς τίς ὁδηγήσει με ἕως τῆς Ἰδουμαίας;
108:10
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
οὐχὶ σύ, ὁ θεός, ὁ ἀπωσάμενος ἡμᾶς καὶ οὐχὶ ἐξελεύσῃ, ὁ θεός, ἐν ταῖς δυνάμεσιν ἡμῶν
108:11
Have You not rejected us, O God? Will You no longer march out, O God, with our armies?
δὸς ἡ βοήθειαν ἐκ θλίψεως, καὶ ματαία σωτηρία ἀνθρώπου.
108:12
Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.
ἐν τῷ θεῷ ποιήσομεν δύναμιν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξουδενώσει τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ἡμῶν.
108:13
With God we will perform with valor, and He will trample our enemies.
