Καὶ ἐγένετο ἧ ἡμέρα συνετέλεσεν Μωυσῆς ὥστε ἀναστῆσαι τὴν σκηνήν, καὶ ἔχρισεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἡγίασεν αὐτὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη ἀυτῆς κὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔχρισεν ἀυτὰ καὶ ἡγίασεν αὐτά·
On the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings, along with the altar and all its utensils.
κα προσήνεγκαν οἱ ἄρχοντες Ἰσραήλ, ιβ΄ ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν · οὗτοι ἄρχοντες φυλῶν, οὗτοι οἱ παρεστηκότες ἐπὶ τῆς ἐπισκοπῆς·
And the leaders of Israel, the heads of their families, presented an offering. These men were the tribal leaders who had supervised the registration.
καὶ ἤνεγκαν τὸ δῶρον αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου, ἐξ ἁμάξας λαμπηνικὰς καὶ ιβ΄ βόας, ἅμαξαν παρὰ δύο ἀρχόντων καὶ μόσχον παρὰ ἑκάστου, καὶ προσήγαγον ἐναντίον τῆς σκήνης.
They brought as their offering before the LORD six covered carts and twelve oxen—an ox from each leader and a cart from every two leaders—and presented them before the tabernacle.
Λάβε παρ' αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσονται πρὸς τὰ ἔργα τὰ λειτουργικὰ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου. καὶ δώσεις αὐτὰ τοῖς Λευείταις, ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὴν αὐτοῦ λειτουργίαν.
“Accept these gifts from them, that they may be used in the work of the Tent of Meeting. And give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service.”
καὶ λαβὼν Μωυσῆς τὰς ἁμάξας καὶ τοὺς βόας ἔδωκεν αὐτὰ τοῖς υς.
So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites.
τὰς δύο ἁμάξας καὶ τοὺς τέσσαρες βόας ἔδωκεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Γεδσὼν κατὰ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν,
He gave the Gershonites two carts and four oxen, as their service required,
καὶ τὰς τέσσαρες ἁμάξας καὶ τοὺς ὀκτὼ βόας ἔδωκεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Μεραρεὶ κατὰ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν, διὰ Ἰθάμαρ υἱοῦ Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἴε ἱερέως.
and he gave the Merarites four carts and eight oxen, as their service required, all under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
καὶ τοῖς υἰοῖς καὰθ οὐκ ἔδωκεν, ὅτι τὰ λειτουργήματα τοῦ ἁγίου ἔ χοῦσιν· ἐπ’ ὤμων ἀροῦσιν. σιν.
But he did not give any to the Kohathites, since they were to carry on their shoulders the holy objects for which they were responsible.
καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ ἄρχοντες εἰς τὸν ἐγκαινισμὸν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἧ ἔχρισεν αὐτό, καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ ἄρχοντες τὰ δῶρα αὐτῶν ἀπέναντι τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου.
When the altar was anointed, the leaders approached with their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar.
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Ἄρχων εἷς καθ’ ἡμέραν, ἄρχων καθ’ ἡμέραν, προσοίσουσιν τὰ δῶρα αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν ἐγκαινισμὸν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου.
And the LORD said to Moses, “Each day one leader is to present his offering for the dedication of the altar.”
καὶ ἦν ὁ προσφέρων ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ Ναασσὼν υἱὸς Ἀμειναδάβ, ἄρχων τῆς φυλῆς Ἰούδα.
On the first day Nahshon son of Amminadab from the tribe of Judah drew near with his offering.
καὶ προσήνεγκεν τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ τρύβλιον ἀργυροῦν ἕν,’ τριάκοντα καὶ ἑκατὸν ὁλκὴ αὐτοῦ, φιάλην μίαν ἀργυρᾶν, ἑβδομήκοντα σίκλων κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον, ἀμφότερα πλήρη σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ εἰς θυσίαν·
His offering was one silver platter weighing a hundred and thirty shekels (note: 70 shekels is approximately 1.76 pounds or 797.8 grams; here and throughout this chapter.), and one silver bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel and filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering;

and a peace offering of two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs a year old. This was the offering of Ahira son of Enan.
Οὗτος ὁ ἐγκαινισμὸς τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἧ ἡμέρᾳ ἔχρισεν αὐτὸ παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· τρύβλια ἀργυρᾶ δώδεκα, φιάλαι ἀργυραῖ ιβ΄, θυίσκαι Χρυσαῖ ιβ΄,
So these were the offerings from the leaders of Israel for the dedication of the altar when it was anointed: twelve silver platters, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold dishes.
τριάκοντα καὶ ἑκατὸν σίκλων τὸ τρύβλιον τὸ ἕν, καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα σίκλων ἡ φιάλη ἡ μία· πᾶν τὸ ἀργύριον τῶν σκευῶν δισχίλιοι καὶ τετρακόσιοι σίκλοι, ἐν τῷ σίκλῳ τῶν ἁγίων
Each silver platter weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each silver bowl seventy shekels. The total weight of the silver articles was two thousand four hundred shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel.
θυίσκαι χρυσαῖ δώδεκα, πλήρεις θυμιάματος· πᾶν τὸ χρυσίον τῶν θυισκῶν εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατὸν χρυσοῖ.
The twelve gold dishes filled with incense weighed ten shekels each, according to the sanctuary shekel. The total weight of the gold dishes was a hundred and twenty shekels.
πᾶσαι αἱ βόες αἱ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωσιν μόσχοι ιβ΄, κριοὶ δώδεκα, ἀμνοὶ ἐνιαύσιοι ιβ΄, καὶ αἱ θυσίαι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ σπονδαὶ αὐτῶν· καὶ χίμαροι ἐξ αἰγῶν δώδεκα περὶ ἁμαρτίας.
All the livestock for the burnt offering totaled twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve male lambs a year old—together with their grain offerings—and twelve male goats for the sin offering.
πᾶσαι αἱ βόες εἰς θυσίαν σωτηρίου δαμάλεις εἴκοσι τέσσαρες· καὶ κριοὶ ἑξήκοντα, ἀμνάδες ἑξήκοντα ἐνιαύσιαι ἄμωμοι, τράγοι ἑξήκοντα. αὕτη ἡ ἐγκαίνωσις τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου μετὰ τὸ πληρῶσαι τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ καὶ μετὰ τὸ χρίσαι αὐτόν.
All the livestock sacrificed for the peace offering totaled twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty male lambs a year old. This was the dedication offering for the altar after it was anointed.
ἐν τῷ εἰσπορεύεσθαι Μωυσῆν εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου λαλῆσαι αὐτῷ, καὶ ἤκουσεν τὴν φωνὴν κυρίου λαλοῦντος πρὸς αὐτὸν ἄνωθεν τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου, ὃ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν δύο Χερουβείμ· καὶ ἐλάλει πρὸς αὐτόν.
When Moses entered the Tent of Meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the mercy seat (note: Or atonement cover) on the ark of the Testimony (note: That is, the ark of the covenant). Thus the LORD spoke to him.
