Darnach fiel das zweite Los auf den Stamm der Kinder Simeon nach ihren Geschlechtern; und ihr Erbteil war unter dem Erbteil der Kinder Juda.
The second lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Simeon: Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah
Und es ward ihnen zum Erbteil Beer-Seba, Seba, Molada,
and included Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
Beth-Lebaoth, Saruhen. Das sind dreizehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.
Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen cities, along with their villages.
Ain, Rimmon, Ehter, Asan. Das sind vier Städte und ihre Dörfer.
Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities, along with their villages,
Dazu alle Dörfer, die um diese Städte liegen, bis gen Baalath-Beer-Ramath gegen Mittag. Das ist das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Simeon nach ihren Geschlechtern.
and all the villages surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
Denn der Kinder Simeon Erbteil ist unter dem Erbteil der Kinder Juda. Weil das Erbteil der Kinder Juda ihnen zu groß war, darum erbten die Kinder Simeon unter ihrem Erbteil.
The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the territory of Judah, because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large for them. So the Simeonites received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.
Das dritte Los fiel auf die Kinder Sebulon nach ihren Geschlechtern; und die Grenze ihres Erbteils war bis gen Sarid
The third lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Zebulun: The border of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid.
und geht hinauf abendwärts gen Mareala und stößt an Dabbeseth und stößt an den Bach, der vor Jokneam fließt,
It went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.
und wendet sich von Sarid gegen der Sonne Aufgang bis an die Grenze Kisloth-Thabor und kommt hinaus gen Dabrath und reicht hinauf gen Japhia,
From Sarid it turned eastward along the border of Chisloth-tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia.
und von da geht sie gegen Aufgang durch Gath-Hepher, Eth-Kazin und kommt hinaus gen Rimmon, Mithoar und Nea
From there it crossed eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon and curved around toward Neah.
und lenkt sich herum mitternachtwärts gen Hannathon und endet im Tal Jephthah-El,
Then the border circled around the north side of Neah to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah-el.
und Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jedeala und Bethlehem. Das sind zwölf Städte und ihre Dörfer.
It also included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. There were twelve cities, along with their villages.

The fourth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Issachar:

Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,
und die Grenze stößt an Thabor, Sahazima, Beth-Semes, und ihr Ende ist am Jordan. Sechzehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.
The border reached Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen cities, along with their villages.

This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Issachar, including these cities and their villages.

The fifth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Asher:
Und ihr Gebiet war Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achsaph,
Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
Allammelech, Amead, Miseal, und die Grenze stößt an den Karmel am Meer und an Sihor-Libnath
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. On the west the border touched Carmel and Shihor-libnath,
und wendet sich gegen der Sonne Aufgang gen Beth-Dagon und stößt an Sebulon und an das Tal Jephthah-El mitternachtwärts, Beth-Emek, Negiel und kommt hinaus gen Kabul zur Linken,
then turned eastward toward Beth-dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah-el, and went north to Beth-emek and Neiel, passing Cabul on the left.

It went on to Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.

The border then turned back toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah, and came out at the Sea (note: That is, the Mediterranean Sea, also called the Great Sea) in the region of Achzib,

The sixth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Naphtali:
Und ihre Grenze war von Heleph, von den Eichen bei Zaanannim an, Adami-Nebek, Jabneel, bis gen Lakkum und endet am Jordan,
Their border started at Heleph and the great tree of Zaanannim, passing Adami-nekeb and Jabneel as far as Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.
und die Grenze wendet sich zum Abend gen Asnoth-Thabor und kommt von da hinaus gen Hukkok und stößt an Sebulon gegen Mittag und an Asser gegen Abend und an Juda am Jordan gegen der Sonne Aufgang;
Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and ran from there to Hukkok, touching Zebulun on the south side, Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan (note: Hebrew; LXX west, and the Jordan) on the east.

The seventh lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Dan:
Und das Gebiet ihres Erbteils waren Zora, Esthaol, Ir-Semes,
The territory of their inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,
Me-Jarkon, Rakkon mit den Grenzen gegen Japho.
Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory across from Joppa.
Und an demselben endet das Gebiet der Kinder Dan. Und die Kinder Dan zogen hinauf und stritten wider Lesem und gewannen und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und nahmen es ein und wohnten darin und nannten es Dan nach ihres Vaters Namen.
(Later, when the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, and put it to the sword. So they took possession of Leshem, settled there, and renamed it after their father Dan.)

When they had finished distributing the land into its territories, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,
und gaben ihm nach dem Befehl des HErrn die Stadt, die er forderte, nämlich Thimnath-Serah auf dem Gebirge Ephraim. Da baute er die Stadt und wohnte darin.
as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the city of Timnath-serah (note: Timnath-serah is also known as Timnath-heres; see Judges 2:9.) in the hill country of Ephraim, as he requested. He rebuilt the city and settled in it.

These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families distributed by lot to the tribes of Israel at Shiloh before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing up the land.
