Solches redete Jesus, und hob seine Augen auf gen Himmel und sprach: Vater, die Stunde ist da, dass du deinen Sohn verklärest, auf dass dich dein Sohn auch verkläre;
When Jesus had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You.
Gleichwie du ihm Macht hast gegeben über alles Fleisch, auf dass er das ewige Leben gebe allen, die du ihm gegeben hast.
For You granted Him authority over all people (note: Literally all flesh), so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him.
Das ist aber das ewige Leben, dass sie dich, der du allein wahrer Gott bist, und den du gesandt hast, Jesum Christum, erkennen.
Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
Ich habe dich verklärt auf Erden und vollendet das Werk, das du mir gegeben hast, dass ich es tun sollte.
I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do.
Und nun verkläre mich du, Vater, bei dir selbst mit der Klarheit, die ich bei dir hatte, ehe die Welt war.
And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.
Ich habe deinen Namen offenbart den Menschen, die du mir von der Welt gegeben hast. Sie waren dein, und du hast sie mir gegeben, und sie haben dein Wort behalten.
I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
Nun wissen sie, dass alles, was du mir gegeben hast, sei von dir.
Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You.
Denn die Worte, die du mir gegeben hast, habe ich ihnen gegeben; und sie haben's angenommen und erkannt wahrhaftig, dass sie glauben, dass du mich gesandt hast.
For I have given them the words You gave Me, and they have received them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me.
Ich bitte für sie und bitte nicht für die Welt, sondern für die, die du mir gegeben hast; denn sie sind dein.
I ask on their behalf. I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those You have given Me; for they are Yours.
Und alles, was mein ist, das ist dein, und was dein ist, das ist mein; und ich bin in ihnen verklärt.
All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine; and in them I have been glorified.
Und ich bin nicht mehr in der Welt; sie aber sind in der Welt, und ich komme zu dir. Heiliger Vater, erhalte sie in deinem Namen, die du mir gegeben hast, dass sie eins seien gleichwie wir.
I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name, the name You gave Me (note: Literally Your name, which You gave Me; TR Your name. These You have given Me; similarly in verse 12), so that they may be one as We are one.
Dieweil ich bei ihnen war in der Welt, erhielt ich sie in deinem Namen. Die du mir gegeben hast, die habe ich bewahrt, und ist keiner von ihnen verloren, als das verlorene Kind, dass die Schrift erfüllet würde.
While I was with them, I protected and preserved them by Your name, the name You gave Me. Not one of them has been lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.
Nun aber komme ich zu dir und rede solches in der Welt, auf dass sie in ihnen haben meine Freude vollkommen.
But now I am coming to You; and I am saying these things while I am in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them.
Ich habe ihnen gegeben dein Wort, und die Welt hasste sie; denn sie sind nicht von der Welt, wie ich denn auch nicht von der Welt bin.
I have given them Your word and the world has hated them. For they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Ich bitte nicht, dass du sie von der Welt nehmest, sondern dass du sie bewahrst vor dem Übel.
I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.
Sie sind nicht von der Welt, gleichwie ich auch nicht von der Welt bin.
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Heilige sie in deiner Wahrheit; dein Wort ist die Wahrheit.
Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.
Gleichwie du mich gesandt hast in die Welt, so sende ich sie auch in die Welt.
As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world.
Ich heilige mich selbst für sie, auf dass auch sie geheiligt seien in der Wahrheit.
For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
Ich bitte aber nicht allein für sie, sondern auch für die, so durch ihr Wort an mich glauben werden,
I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message,
auf dass sie alle eins seien, gleichwie du, Vater, in mir und ich in dir; dass auch sie in uns eins seien, auf dass die Welt glaube, du habest mich gesandt.
that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
Und ich habe ihnen gegeben die Herrlichkeit, die du mir gegeben hast, dass sie eins seien, gleichwie wir eins sind,
I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one—
ich in ihnen und du in mir, auf dass sie vollkommen seien in eins und die Welt erkenne, dass du mich gesandt hast und liebest sie, gleichwie du mich liebst.
I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.
Vater, ich will, dass, wo ich bin, auch die bei mir seien, die du mir gegeben hast, dass sie meine Herrlichkeit sehen, die du mir gegeben hast; denn du hast mich geliebt, ehe denn die Welt gegründet ward.
Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Gerechter Vater, die Welt kennt dich nicht; ich aber kenne dich, und diese erkennen, dass du mich gesandt hast.
Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I know You, and they know that You sent Me.
Und ich habe ihnen deinen Namen kundgetan und will ihn kundtun, auf dass die Liebe, damit du mich liebst, sei in ihnen und ich in ihnen.
And I have made Your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love You have for Me may be in them, and I in them.”
