Lève-toi, et resplendis ! Car ta lumière paraît, et la gloire de Yahweh s'est levée sur toi.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
Voici que les ténèbres couvrent la terre, et une sombre obscurité les peuples ; mais sur toi Yahweh se lève, et sa gloire se manifeste sur toi.
For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.
Les nations marchent vers ta lumière, et les rois vers la clarté de ton lever.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Lève tes regards autour de toi, et vois : Tous se rassemblent, ils viennent à toi ; tes fils viennent de loin, et tes filles sont portées sur les bras.
Lift up your eyes and look around: They all gather and come to you; your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried on the arm.
Tu le verras alors, et tu seras radieuse ; ton cœur tressaillira et se dilatera ; car les richesses de la mer se dirigeront vers toi, les trésors des nations viendront à toi.
Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and swell with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you, and the wealth of the nations will come to you.
Des multitudes de chameaux te couvriront, les dromadaires de Madian et d'Epha ; tous ceux de Saba viendront, ils apporteront de l'or et de l'encens, et publieront les louanges de Yahweh.
Caravans of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah, and all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.
Tous les troupeaux de Cédar se rassembleront chez toi ; les béliers de Nabaïoth seront à ton service ; ils monteront sur mon autel comme une offrande agréable, et je glorifierai la maison de ma gloire.
All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth will serve you and go up on My altar with acceptance; I will adorn My glorious house.
Qui sont ceux-là qui volent comme des nuées, comme des colombes vers leur colombier ?
Who are these who fly like clouds, like doves to their shelters?
Car les îles espèrent en moi, et les vaisseaux de Tarsis viendront les premiers ; Pour ramener tes fils de loin, avec leur argent et leur or, pour honorer le nom de Yahweh, ton Dieu, et le Saint d'Israël, parce qu'il t'a glorifié.
Surely the islands (note: Or coastlands) will wait for Me, with the ships of Tarshish (note: Or a fleet of trading ships) in the lead, to bring your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.
Les fils de l'étranger rebâtiront tes murailles, et leurs rois seront tes serviteurs ; car je t'ai frappée dans ma colère, mais, dans ma bienveillance, j'ai eu compassion de toi.
Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in anger, yet in favor I will show you mercy.
Tes portes seront toujours ouvertes ; jour et nuit, elles ne seront pas fermées, afin de laisser entrer chez toi les trésors des nations et leurs rois en cortège triomphal.
Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.
Car la nation et le royaume qui ne te serviront point périront ; ces nations-là seront entièrement détruites.
For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.
La gloire du Liban viendra chez toi, le cyprès, le platane et le buis tous ensemble, pour orner le lieu de mon sanctuaire, et je glorifierai le lieu où reposent mes pieds.
The glory of Lebanon will come to you—its cypress (note: Or pine or juniper or fir), elm, and boxwood together—to adorn the place of My sanctuary, and I will glorify the place of My feet.
Les fils de tes oppresseurs viendront à toi le front courbé, et tous ceux qui te méprisaient se prosterneront à tes pieds ; et l'on t'appellera la Ville de Yahweh, la Sion du Saint d'Israël.
The sons of your oppressors will come and bow down to you; all who reviled you will fall facedown at your feet and call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Au lieu que tu étais délaissée, haïe et solitaire, je ferai de toi l'orgueil des siècles, la joie de toutes les générations.
Whereas you have been forsaken and despised, with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from age to age.
Tu suceras le lait des nations, tu suceras la mamelle des rois, et tu sauras que moi, Yahweh, je suis ton Sauveur, et que le Puissant de Jacob est ton Rédempteur.
You will drink the milk of nations and nurse at the breasts of royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Au lieu de l'airain, je ferai venir de l'or, et au lieu du fer, je ferai venir de l'argent ; et au lieu du bois, de l'airain, et au lieu des pierres, du fer ; et je te donnerai pour gouverneurs, la paix, pour magistrats, la justice.
Instead of bronze I will bring you gold; I will bring silver in place of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. I will appoint peace as your governor and righteousness as your ruler.
On n'entendra plus parler de violence dans ton pays, de ravage ni de ruine dans tes frontières ; tu appelleras tes murailles : Salut, et tes portes : Louange.
No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
Le soleil ne sera plus ta lumière pendant le jour, et la lueur de la lune ne t'éclairera plus ; Yahweh sera pour toi une lumière éternelle, et ton Dieu sera ta gloire.
No longer will the sun be your light by day, nor the brightness of the moon shine on your night; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor (note: Or your beauty).
Ton soleil ne se couchera plus, et ta lune ne se retirera plus ; car Yahweh sera pour toi une lumière éternelle, et les jours de ton deuil seront achevés.
Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not wane; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will cease.
Dans ton peuple, tous seront justes, et ils posséderont le pays pour toujours, eux, le rejeton que j'ai planté, l'ouvrage de mes mains, créé pour ma gloire.
Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever; they are the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, so that I may be glorified.
Le plus petit deviendra un millier, et le moindre une nation puissante. Moi, Yahweh, en leur temps, je hâterai ces choses.
The least of you will become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will accomplish it quickly.
