Höret das, ihr vom Hause Jakob, die ihr heißet mit Namen Israel und aus dem Wasser Judas geflossen seid; die ihr schwöret bei dem Namen des HErrn und gedenkt des Gottes in Israel, aber nicht in der Wahrheit noch Gerechtigkeit.
“Listen to this, O house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, who have descended from the line of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD, who invoke the God of Israel—but not in truth or righteousness—
Sie nennen sich aus der heiligen Stadt und trotzen auf den Gott Israels, der da heißt der HErr Zebaoth.
who indeed call yourselves after the holy city and lean on the God of Israel; the LORD of Hosts is His name.
Ich habe es zuvor verkündigt, dies Zukünftige; aus meinem Munde ist's gekommen, und ich habe es lassen sagen; ich tue es auch plötzlich, dass es kommt.
I foretold the former things long ago; they came out of My mouth and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
Denn ich weiß, dass du hart bist, und dein Nacken ist eine eiserne Ader, und deine Stirn ist ehern;
For I knew that you are stubborn; your neck is iron and your forehead is bronze.
Darum habe ich dir's verkündigt zuvor und habe es dir lassen sagen, ehe denn es gekommen ist, auf dass du nicht sagen könntest: Mein Götze tut's, und mein Bild und Abgott hat's befohlen.
Therefore I declared it to you long ago; I announced it before it came to pass, so that you could not claim, ‘My idol has done this; my carved image and molten god has ordained it.’
Solches alles hast du gehört und siehst es, und verkündigst es doch nicht. Ich habe dir von nun an Neues sagen lassen und Verborgenes, das du nicht wusstest.
You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not acknowledge them? From now on I will tell you of new things, hidden things unknown to you.
Nun ist's geschaffen, und nicht vorlängst, und hast nicht einen Tag zuvor davon gehört, auf dass du nicht sagen könntest: Siehe, das wusste ich wohl.
They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot claim, ‘I already knew them!’
Denn du hörtest es nicht und wusstest es auch nicht, und dein Ohr war dazumal nicht geöffnet; ich aber wusste wohl, dass du verachten würdest und von Mutterleib an ein Übertreter genannt bist.
You have never heard; you have never understood; for a long time your ears have not been open. For I knew how deceitful you are; you have been called a rebel from birth.
Um meines Namens willen bin ich geduldig, und um meines Ruhms willen will ich mich dir zugut enthalten, dass du nicht ausgerottet werdest.
For the sake of My name I will delay My wrath; for the sake of My praise I will restrain it, so that you will not be cut off.
Siehe ich will dich läutern, aber nicht wie Silber; sondern ich will dich auserwählt machen im Ofen des Elends.
See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
Um meinetwillen, ja um meinetwillen will ich's tun, dass ich nicht gelästert werde; denn ich will meine Ehre keinem andern lassen.
For My own sake, My very own sake, I will act; for how can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another.
Höre mir zu, Jakob, und du, Israel, mein Berufener: Ich bin's, ich bin der Erste, dazu auch der Letzte.
Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called: I am He; I am the first, and I am the last.
Meine Hand hat den Erdboden gegründet, und meine Rechte hat den Himmel ausgespannt; was ich rufe, das steht alles da.
Surely My own hand founded the earth, and My right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they stand up together.
Sammelt euch alle und hört: Wer ist unter diesen, der solches verkündigt hat? Der HErr liebt ihn; darum wird er seinen Willen an Babel und seinen Arm an den Chaldäern beweisen.
Come together, all of you, and listen: Which of the idols has foretold these things? The LORD’s chosen ally will carry out His desire against Babylon, and His arm will be against the Chaldeans (note: That is, the Babylonians; also in verse 20).
Ich, ja, ich habe es gesagt, ich habe ihn gerufen; ich will ihn auch kommen lassen, und sein Weg soll ihm gelingen.
I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him. I have brought him, and he will succeed in his mission.
Tretet her zu mir und höret dies! Ich habe es nicht im Verborgenen zuvor geredet; von der Zeit an, da es ward, bin ich da. Und nun sendet mich der Herr HErr und sein Geist.
Come near to Me and listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time it happened, I was there.” And now the Lord GOD has sent me, accompanied by His Spirit.
So spricht der HErr, dein Erlöser, der Heilige in Israel: Ich bin der HErr, dein Gott, der dich lehrt, was nützlich ist, und leitet dich auf dem Wege, den du gehst.
Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go.
O dass du auf meine Gebote merktest, so würde dein Friede sein wie ein Wasserstrom, und deine Gerechtigkeit wie Meereswellen;
If only you had paid attention to My commandments, your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like waves of the sea.
und dein Same würde sein wie Sand, und die Sprossen deines Leibes wie Sandkörner; sein Name würde nicht ausgerottet noch vertilgt vor mir.
Your descendants would have been as countless as the sand, and your offspring as numerous as its grains; their name would never be cut off or eliminated from My presence.”
Gehet aus von Babel, fliehet von den Chaldäern mit fröhlichem Schall; verkündiget und lasset solches hören; bringt es aus bis an der Welt Ende; sprechet: Der HErr hat seinen Knecht Jakob erlöst.
Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare it with a shout of joy, proclaim it, let it go out to the ends of the earth, saying, “The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!”
Sie hatten keinen Durst, da er sie leitete in der Wüste: er ließ ihnen Wasser aus dem Felsen fließen; er riss den Fels, das Wasser herausrann.
They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow for them from the rock; He split the rock, and water gushed out.
Aber die Gottlosen, spricht der HErr, haben keinen Frieden.
“There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
