Le désert et la terre aride se réjouiront ; la steppe sera dans l'allégresse, et fleurira comme le narcisse ;
The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.
il se couvrira de fleurs et tressaillira, il poussera des cris de joie. La gloire du Liban lui sera donnée, avec la magnificence du Carmel et de Saron. Ils verront la gloire de Yahweh, la magnificence de notre Dieu !
It will bloom profusely and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
Fortifiez les mains défaillantes, et affermissez les genoux qui chancellent !
Strengthen the limp hands and steady the feeble knees (note: Cited in Hebrews 12:12)!

Say to those with anxious hearts: “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance. With divine retribution He will come to save you.”
Alors s'ouvriront les yeux des aveugles, alors s'ouvriront les oreilles des sourds.
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
Le boiteux bondira comme un cerf, et la langue du muet éclatera de joie. Car des eaux jailliront dans le désert, et des ruisseaux dans la steppe,
Then the lame will leap like a deer and the mute tongue will shout for joy. For waters will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
Le sol brûlé se changera en un lac, et la terre altérée en sources d'eaux ; le repaire où gîtaient les chacals deviendra un parc de roseaux et de joncs.
The parched ground will become a pool, the thirsty land springs of water. In the haunt where jackals (note: Or serpents or dragons) once lay, there will be grass and reeds and papyrus.
Il y aura là une route, une voie, qu'on appellera la voie sainte ; nul impur n'y passera ; elle n'est que pour eux seuls ; ceux qui la suivront, les simples mêmes, ne s'égareront pas.
And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it.
Là il n'y aura point de lion ; aucune bête féroce n'y mettra le pied ; on ne l'y trouvera pas. Les délivrés y marcheront,
No lion will be there, and no vicious beast will go up on it. Such will not be found there, but the redeemed will walk upon it.
et les rachetés de Yahweh reviendront ; ils viendront en Sion avec des cris de joie ; une allégresse éternelle couronnera leur tête ; la joie et l'allégresse les envahiront, la douleur et le gémissement s'enfuiront.
So the redeemed of the LORD will return and enter Zion with singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.
