Und es wird eine Rute aufgehen von dem Stamm Isais und eine Zweig aus seiner Wurzel Frucht bringen,
Then a shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.
auf welchem wird ruhen der Geist des HErrn, der Geist der Weisheit und des Verstandes, der Geist des Rates und der Stärke, der Geist der Erkenntnis und der Furcht des HErrn.
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD.
Und Wohlgeruch wird ihm sein die Furcht des HErrn. Er wird nicht richten, nach dem seine Augen sehen, noch Urteil sprechen, nach dem seine Ohren hören,
And He will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what His eyes see, and He will not decide by what His ears hear,
sondern wird mit Gerechtigkeit richten die Armen und rechtes Urteil sprechen den Elenden im Lande und wird mit dem Stabe seines Mundes die Erde schlagen und mit dem Odem seiner Lippen den Gottlosen töten.
but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.
Gerechtigkeit wird der Gurt seiner Lenden sein und der Glaube der Gurt seiner Hüften.
Righteousness will be the belt around His hips, and faithfulness the sash around His waist.
Die Wölfe werden bei den Lämmern wohnen und die Parder bei den Böcken liegen. Ein kleiner Knabe wird Kälber und junge Löwen und Mastvieh miteinander treiben.
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together (note: Hebrew; LXX the young calf and bull and lion will feed together), and a little child will lead them.
Kühe und Bären werden auf der Weide gehen, dass ihre Jungen beieinander liegen; und Löwen werden Stroh essen wie die Ochsen.
The cow will graze with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
Und ein Säugling wird seine Lust haben am Loch der Otter, und ein Entwöhnter wird seine Hand stecken in die Höhle des Basilisken.
The infant will play by the cobra’s den, and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest.
Man wird niemand Schaden tun noch verderben auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge; denn das Land ist voll Erkenntnis des HErrn, wie Wasser das Meer bedeckt.
They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water.
Und es wird geschehen zu der Zeit, dass die Wurzel Isai, die da steht zum Panier den Völkern, nach der werden die Heiden fragen; und seine Ruhe wird Ehre sein.
On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him (note: LXX On that day the Root of Jesse will appear, One who will arise to rule over the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will put their hope; cited in Romans 15:12.), and His place of rest will be glorious.
Und der HErr wird zu der Zeit zum andernmal seine Hand ausstrecken, dass er das übrige Volk erwerbe, so übriggeblieben von Assur, Ägypten, Pathros, Mohrenland, Elam, Sinear, Hamath und von den Inseln des Meeres,
On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover the remnant of His people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush (note: That is, the upper Nile region), from Elam, from Shinar (note: That is, Babylonia), from Hamath, and from the islands (note: Or coastlands) of the sea.
und wird ein Panier unter die Heiden aufwerfen und zusammenbringen die Verjagten Israels und die Zerstreuten aus Juda zuhauf führen von den vier Enden des Erdreichs;
He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
und der Neid gegen Ephraim wird aufhören, und die Feinde Judas werden ausgerottet werden, dass Ephraim nicht neide den Juda und Juda nicht sei gegen Ephraim.
Then the jealousy of Ephraim (note: That is, the northern kingdom of Israel) will depart, and the adversaries (note: Or hostility) of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim will no longer envy Judah, nor will Judah harass Ephraim.
Sie werden aber den Philistern auf dem Halse sein gegen Abend und berauben alle die, so gegen Morgen wohnen; Edom und Moab werden ihre Hände gegen sie falten; die Kinder Ammon werden gehorsam sein.
They will swoop down on the slopes of the Philistines to the west; together they will plunder the sons of the east. They will lay their hands on Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them.
Und der HErr wird verbannen die Zunge des Meeres in Ägypten und wird seine Hand lassen gehen über den Strom mit einem starken Winde und ihn in sieben Bäche zerschlagen, dass man mit Schuhen dadurchgehen kann.
The LORD will devote to destruction (note: Or will completely dry up) the gulf (note: Hebrew the tongue) of the Sea of Egypt; with a scorching wind He will sweep His hand over the Euphrates (note: Hebrew the River). He will split it into seven streams for men to cross with dry sandals.
Und es wird eine Bahn sein dem übrigen seines Volkes, das übriggeblieben ist von Assur, wie Israel geschah zu der Zeit, da sie aus Ägyptenland zogen.
There will be a highway for the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt.
